*My personal essay, "The Heart and Cement of Texas," has been included in the next edition of CHICKEN SOUP for the ROMANTIC SOUL, which was released on January 16, 2003. *On December 21, 2002, it was an honor to be presented with the 2002 Achiever of the
Year Award by my local RWA chapter, the Heart of Denver Romance Writers.
*On October 12, 2002, I stopped gleefully leaping around my living room long enough to announce
my 1st Place win in the Short Contemporary category of New Jersey Romance Writers "2002
Put Your Heart in a Book" contest with my manuscript, PRIVATE DUTY-MAN.
*I was thrilled and honored to be a double finalist in the Heart of Denver Romance Writers
"2002 Molly" contest. PRIVATE-DUTY MAN finalled in the Short Contemporary category, and
for the new "Heart of Molly" award.
